2012-2015ish vintage. What would you choose and why?

RDX, that V6 and 6spd are tried and proven, been used in hondas and acuras for years now. It should provide years of reliable service.

Exactly what I was going to say.

xc60, literally no one makes seats as comfortable as Volvo.

XC60; I have a XC70 of similar vintage and while it’s a bit more maintenance than a Honda, it’s supremely fast, comfy, and refined—IMO it feels a bit more special knowing it doesn’t have a “downmarket” counterpart.

I would have to do a blind taste test.

XC60, all day. The T6 (3.oL I6 + turbo) is sweet, and the XC60 itself is cavernous inside and pretty much the safest thing out there. Has refinement and elegance that the RDX can’t match, and it’ll still look good in 10 years. Plus, there’s nothing like Volvo seats!

RDX, it’s very smooth and quiet and having a reliable car that most mechanics can fix is also nice
